Bon Dia Portugal
After booking an impromptu Groupon trip to Portugal, I spent a week in April 2016 in Lisbon, Fatima, Sintra, and Sao Miguel with my roommate, TL, and her mom. My roommate/friend knew I was having a hard time earlier in the year and I think she was kind enough to invite me cause she knew I needed a pick-me-up. (just a warning: even if it's just a courtesy invitation to go travel somewhere, I'll still take you up on it hehe). I spent the preceding week on Duolingo to learn some Portuguese. We took the redeye from Boston, and landed in Lisbon early morning. Right after, my friend's mom Deb and I took the bus to Fatima, a place known for Mary apparitions and a general mystical religious place.
